A Big Burpee Thank You!

Just Believe Thank You

Here’s a cute little thank you card with a gardening surprise inside. It’s made to open and close like a matchbook so it will hold a packet of seeds. This was the last of the four thank you cards we made at my Stamp A Stack. We used the “Just Believe” stamp set to stamp the flowers which are absolutely gorgeous. So what better to put inside than a little packet of flower seeds.

This card is made by cutting your card base at 4-1/4″ x 11. Score at 1″ and 6-3/8″. Fold up the bottom edge at the 1″ mark and staple twice close to the bottom (about 1/4″ in) like a matchbook. This will give you your pocket for your seeds. Then fold down the top and tuck it inside to close your card. To hide the staples just be sure to make a cover strip to add at the bottom of your card like I did here with the flowers and with stars on this card sample.

I made this card a couple of years ago for a child’s birthday party, so it’s a little worse for wear and unfortunately the stamp set is retired. But it gives you another idea you can use for this type of card. It contains those cool “Pop Rocks” that kids love. Surprise!
