Bon Voyage!

My friend, Lynne, had a surprise Bon Voyage party for her daughter, Heather, who is going away to school in England for a semester.  I volunteered to make the banner for her party – such an exciting event for Heather who is pictured here with the Banner. You can see by her smile how excited she must be!  Some of the items I used on the banner were pulled from my stash of retired Stampin’ Up! product, but can easily be switched out for new items.  Lynne described the colors her daughter would like beforehand and they were a great match:  Always Artichoke, Certainly Celery and Regal Rose.  It matched so perfectly with the home decor!  Here is another straight on pic of the Banner.  And another pic of Heather with her mom at the airport.  Safe travels Heather, study hard and have fun in England!

Supplies:  Stamp Set:  Best Friends Forever; Cardstock:  Always Artichoke, Certainly Celery (textured), and Regal Rose; Ink:  Certainly Celery; Accessories:  Big Shot, Bigz Die – Serif Essentials Alphabet, Bigz Die Oval Scallop Frame, Bigz XL Pennant Die (retired), Antique Brass Jumbo Eyelets (retired), Sweet Stitches Brads (retired); Crop-A-Dile, and Old Olive Organdy Ribbon (retired).
