My Story!

Hi! My name is Sherahl Weadon. I am married to Donald Weadon. We have two grown children between the two of us.  My daughter is Lindsey and she is married to Jake.  They have two children, Andrew, age 3, and Owen, who was born in December 2011! Donnie is my stepson.  He is physically and mentally challenged from a brain injury sustained at birth.  He lives with us full-time.  As his full-time caregiver, it can be quite draining and Stampin’ Up! has been my saving grace.  Stamping is my therapy and my key to the outside world.   I have been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for almost 13 years and enjoy sharing my love of stamping by holding classes in my home on a regular basis.

The name of my blog has a special meaning to me. It is a combination of my first name Sherahl (pronounced “Sheryl”) and the word “serendipity”.  Serendipity is the effect by which someone accidentally discovers something fortunate, especially while looking for something else entirely.  That always happens to me when I begin a new project.  I go to my stamp shelf with an idea of what stamp set I want to use and while searching through all of them, find another stamp that will improve my original idea or give me an even better idea. Thus, the art of Sherindipity. So welcome, and come along with me on my journey of unexpected discoveries in stamping and papercrafting!

  1. Sherahl,
Thanks so much for sharing your tribute to Toby. Our wonderful Bailey passed away 5 months ago just a week shy of being 13 yrs. old. I still find myself being very careful getting out of bed in the middle of the night, because Bailey was also close by and I nearly stepped on him several times! Families of Goldens are so blessed. They are the best dogs in the world. I’m sorry for your loss.
