Fall Thank You’s

Fall Leaf Thank You

I recently made this card for a client to send to their customers letting them know how thankful they were for their business. They thought Thanksgiving would be the perfect time to thank them and their cards would not get lost among all the other company cards that normally go out at Christmas.  The main focal point is stamped with leaves from the Autumn Splendor stamp set, sponged with different colored inks and then embossed which really sets off the fall colors!  I made 100 of them as you can see in this photo.

Thankful for Autumn Days

Falling Leaves

Since it’s my favorite time of year when the air gets crisp and the leaves are changing their colors I had no problem with finding inspiration to make these cards.  The first card features the leaf from the Autumn Days stamp set along with the saying from the Days of Gratitude.  I love the way the leaf, no matter which way you turn it to stamp it, seems to give off that effect of a leaf as it gently falls to the ground. So pretty, yet sad at the same time. A gentle reflection of the year soon coming to an end. And I love the Gratitude saying bumped up with dimensionals and laid on an embossed background of the new “Cajun Craze” cardstock that has been embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder.  I then made a bow to finish off the card using our new Crochet Trim.

Days of Gratitude

The second card I again used the new Days of Gratitude stamp set featuring that lovely medallion stamped in “Cajun Craze” ink which is quickly becoming my favorite ink color for Fall.  I then used the “Happy Thanksgiving” saying from the set Thankful For.  This is a quick and easy duplicatable card if you are running short on time to get those Thanksgiving cards out to friends and family.  I placed one of our new antique brads in the center of the medallion which really dresses up the card.  I embossed the Always Artichoke cardstock background with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.  Gotta love those embossing folders for adding just the special touch.

These cards were created for a corporate customer  who wanted to send Thank You cards to their customers for Thanksgiving.  I made three samples, two of which are featured above, and I will post the third after I have delivered the final product to my client on the 15th so watch for an additional Autumn Days posting.
